Lone Lover of Scary Movies

Ok i am having a problem. All of these amazing looking scary movies are coming out in about a month, like 4 of them, and my friends don't like scary movies! Yes, out of all my friends from all the schools i have gone to and even on my soccer team not one of them adores scary movies like i do. I have even been reduced to begging some of my friends to just at least go and they can close their eyes the whole time! I mean, it is not like i am going to go to the movies by myself! I don't know why they don't like scary movies, i can't see why people don't. O well, maybe if i pay for the popcorn they will come and brave through it. I guess i should just get ready to get some phone calls that night from them saying i need to some search their house for the monsters. I will see the scary movies though, maybe i should wait till they come on pay per view. Hmmm, i guess i will have to think about this one, hopefully i can toughen up someone to come with me! "It is better to prevent than to heal." is what the above French saying means. I heard it the other day and fell in love with it. This saying is very true in many ways, it is better to just not do something that will hurt someone than to try and fix it later. Maybe if more people did that then the world would be happier.I am sure we all have things we wish people did not do to us, even if that person is sorry can you imagine how much better it would be if it just didn't happen in the first place? Wow i actually just sighed out loud at the thought of that. What if you could take back something you regret? Would you take something back you said, you did? I know there are some things i would take back, but i have mostly been able to make it up fully. Whenever i am about to do something big, i think about that saying now. Keep it in mind and maybe it will prevent you from doing something you will want to make up later.

Poem Journal

Ok, latley i have been having random lines for poems fly into my head and i had the idea of putting them in their own blog. So....i did! I got a Laptop and its pink!

For my birthday all i asked for was a laptop which i have been asking for about a year now. I'm writing a boook freehand now and i wanted to have it typed and now i have that on my laptop! I am sooooo happy about it, my face was full of absoulute asonishment and joy when i saw the gateway box. At first i had to teach myself how to breath again and after that little lesson i said alot of O my Gosh and I have a freaking laptop! And to top it all off on the laptop cake.....its pink! It is an awesome light pink! This is good news for my blog also now becuase i will be typing alot more on it! I am currently writing this blog in computer class so i got to go the bell is about to ring!

Happy Birthday To Me!

Technically my brithday is not till saturday, dec. 6, but hey its wensday and im afraid i wont have time to get on blogger before my birthday passes me by! Im having a party on Friday, a bunch of my friends are sleeping over and i get to chose the movies we watch that night whether they like 'em or not! Its ok i have good movie taste. :) I am extremely excited about my birthday coming up! Ill be 14 and i keep joking me dad saying only one more year till a drive! Haha he is trying to find a way to make me 12 agian, he wants me to be little forever but its just a protective, loving daddy thing i guess! O and a few blogs down (i went a LONG time without getting on blogger for a while there) is when summer was starting and then i was going to a new school. Well so far i am loving it, im getting to see a bunch of old friends and making a ton of new ones! I really like being in public school again, i missed the it more than i thought i did. High school next year! Ugh ill be a freshmen.....o well me and my friends will get through it together! Haha! Its wierd thinking my birthday is almost here becuase that means we are practically half way through the year and its gone by so fast! Mid-terms are already here and its seems like just the other day we still had months before we had to take them! We are going to have so much fun at my B-Day party though, o i got to go! Christmas special is on, i love the holidays! Twilight Movie!

Ok for anyone's sake who has been living under a rock the past couple months...the Twilight movie just came out! I, of course, saw it the day it came out in all its glory! Wow and let me say i have never seen my movie theather so packed! You couldnt move without running into someone and the manager was like freaking out calling for more security becuase so many people were trying to get in! Haha! I got there almost 2 hours early, yet there was still a big line! Anyone bright enough would know you had to buy your ticket in advance, which i did a week early. When me and my group of friends, (we used our numbers to push through the mob), finally got into the theather and snatched some awesome seats everyone was freaking out. I think i have never screamed so much in my life, and im normally not one to girly scream over anything so thats saying something that i did it ALL night! When Edward Cullen (sigh) walked onto screen the whole theather went crazy, but everyone was very respectful and didnt talk and annoy everyone. We all just sighed, screamed, laughed, and yelled in tone with everyone else. I was freaked out that the director and such would totally screw it up and kill the booko with a vengance like most movies that go off of books do. But OMG IT WAS AMAZING! If you havnt read the books (shame on you) please i beg you to go read them becuase you are depriving yourself. Then go see the movie becuase it didnt dissapoint! They left out a couple things, but all in all they did very well! The only thing that i really wish that was diffrent was that Edward didnt tell Bella about Jasper's extra ability, just his and Alice's. You Gotta Love Summer!

Ok so we've all been in summer for a while now right? The sun, the friends, the fun, the no school. Its all been great for me. I actually started typing this from Florida which is always fun! So then that brings up the vacations that you get to go on! One of my personal favorite parts of summer is sleeping in which i have been taking full advantage of! My summer mainly has going to Flordia, (which we have already done 3 times!), hanging out with friends, and really just relaxing. I love the fact that i dont have to worry about getting together with friends around school time and can just call and be like, hey you want to get together in like 30 mintues? Another thing that you have to just love about summer is all the new movies that come out! I just went to see Hancock and i really want to go see the new batman movie The Dark Knight. Bad news is that in the summer all the t.v series play re-runs and not new eposides! Haha ill get over it though, besides its the wait that makes shows good right? Two of my really good friends moved this summer which makes me sad and bummed out. I have decided to switch schools this coming year though which is exciting. Its the middle school that all my friends went to after elementary school and people from my soccer team go there so it will be alot of fun seeing everyone agian! I also decided that i'm going to try out for their school soccer team! Anyway, i have read alot of books this summer and havent put any on my other blog so i got to get on that! Enjoy the summer you have left everyone becuase sadly it is coming to an end. Narnia: Prince Caspian Movie

Ok well i had the most amazing time ever! In my english class we read the Narnia series and when my teacher found the movie was coming out before school ended she decided we were going to take a field trip to the movies at 7:30 in the morning and see Prince Caspian the day before it came out! Thats right! When everyone was like i'm going to see the midnight showing and see it when it firsts comes out i was like well i'm seeing it the day before it is even released! I saw it on Thursday when it came out on Friday! Ok now on to the actual movie!

When Prince Caspian first starts it pretty much follows the book correctly. I mean sure he blows the horn alot sooner but it is a movie for goodness sake you dont except the whole thing to be them wondering around looking for Prince Caspian do you? Well, that is were it being the same ended alot! The director even added a whole invasion sence on Miraz's castle! It was all completly and totally.........AMAZING! I found out i loved the movie so much more than i did the book! There are so many changes but it is a movie and in the book it is them trying to find Prince Caspian for more than half of it! The movie is much more exciting and much more action! You notice that they put in a conflict with our prince in which he is trying to do the right thing but is trying not to end up his Uncle and the other evil people. He is one of their race you know so it gets pretty chalanging for him at times. They also made the whole king ego thing bigger between High King Peter and Soon-To-Be King Caspian. It gave it much more raw emotion in the movie. In the movie the characters act alot more like they really would and have more depth than in the book. Dont get me wrong it is a very good book, but movies just cant be like that so they had to change it around alot. Also, i think Ben did an absolutly splendid job at playing Prince Caspian. Even though alot of people questioned wether it was a good chocie or not it defintly turned out good! And no i'm not just saying this becuase he is drop dead gorgeous! I dont think he is too old becuase he will be the perfect age for The Dawn Treader which they are already filming as the next Narnia movie! All around it is a very good movie and i think the director did great with the changes he made! Long Live Narnia! (Haha)

Do People Ever Look Up?

Ok i thought of this while i was walking to my next class at school, (i go to private school right now and its in a church but i'm doing public school next year!), and i just decied to look up. I think it was becuase i was curious to see where this beam of light was shining through and then it hit me, this room which i have walked under about 10 times a day ALL YEAR and i have never actualy looked up! So i look up and the celing, which i now realize, is awesomely shaped. Its got these beames and windows on one side with these beams of light shining through, and i have never bothered to look up before and notice it! So, that got me to this topic, do people ever take the time to look up instead of just walking under things? If you go to a certian building alot think about this.....have you ever looked up to see whats there? Its just this made me realize how oblivious people can be either there in a hurry or they dont care or something but it shocked me how i walked under there 100s of times and never once thought to look up at the celing! This goes for when your outside too! Look up at the sky and search for the clouds or sun, you'd be suprised at how amazed that you'll be! I have been doing this little experiment myself and promised myself that i will look up more and i have been more dazled by the sky latley than i ever have been! So i would just like to tell everyone now....think about if you really do look up instead of right infront of you or behind you. Take a look at whats been above our heads all this time that you have never thought about before! Good looking up people! My Computer's "Motherboard" Crashed!

OK so i have not been able to get on my blog for about a week and a half now! One day my mom was tryin to get on the computer and my computer would turn on......and then shut right back off! So, my dad tried to fix it and well lets just say my computer was being very stubborn and wouldnt "roll over!" I think i could almost hear my computer laughing at me! Haha! After my night soccer game me and my dad took it to Best Buy,(electronic store), which was interesting becuase they closed at 9:00 and we got there at 8:57! Talk about a close call! We came running in, me in my soccer uniform and shin gaurds and all, and was like wait you have to fix my computer! They took it and my dad talked while i went to look at Playstaion games and when i got back my dad said they took it and we wouldnt get it back till over a week later! It was Friday and the first thought that popped into my head was "o no no blogger to keep up with"! I am not obbsesed or anything with blogger but i did miss being able to put some topics or thoughts that go into my head and type them down. Its like my online journal! I also enjoy desging the page and putting music on it! Anyway though, that is why i havent been on in a while and i have some topics in my head ready to go so i will get one that! Haha! Why is Time so Unfair?

Ok the expression "time flies by when you're havin fun" is probably the most truthful saying i have ever heard! Is it just me or does it seem like when you are having a great time, the time seems to be gone in half of what you think it has. Then, when you are bored out of your mind or not having such a great time the clock decides to play games with you and slow down to 1 mile per hour? If clocks could talk i bet there out to get me or something! Also including days or mabye even months! Like summer break thats coming up! You want it to get here so bad and it seems like the more you want it here the slower it comes! Or if you are dreading a project presentation coming up, it comes faster than you would ever think possible! If i'm bored i'll read or something and when it feels like i have read 5 minutes it turns out to have been three hours. I have a little library or "reading room" as i call it and i go into it, shut the doors, pick up my book, sit in my comfy round chair and start reading. Soon i'm like i should probaly see what time it is so i check my phone and its dinner time! Time is intresting in a way no one really understands. I think that fact that it goes by so fast may make us want to live in the moment more, mabye thats the point of the whole time thing. So it you ask me why time is so unfair.....i would have to say it will make us apppreciate the time we DO have.

It is still the same thing as it has always been, i changed the name again but it is still like when i first made this blog and called it Things Of Interest. Live in the Moment Everyday

If you asked my friends something about what i believe people should do, most likliy one of the things would be that i say people need to live in the moment more! I love being who i am and just getting out there becuase well, life is an unpredictable journey. Latley i have been doing that even more! Yay! You dont want to look back on your life and think, man i wish i would have done that or i really wish i would have done that diffrently! (Beauty if you are reading this please take it to heart about tweety bird! You know i love ya and i never want you to look back and wish something else!) If you go around and ask parents or something what is one thing you wish you would have done, most likly they will have a ton of things that they could tell you about. I dont want to be like that when i get older. Truth is though.....everyone screws up but you dont want to dwell on that. You want to think o well what can i do here and now to make that better! Cause that will get you alot farther than sulking around all day saying pity pity me! I know it sounds sad but people should really live like they were dying more! I am just saying, i mean think about it! If you knew you had a year left to live, you would go around telling people how you felt and getting things done that you have wanted to do for a long time and live in that year more than you did your whole life! When i get sacred about something i just think, well i have one life to live so i might as well live it to its fullest! But also remember that is not an excuse to do bad things, when i say live your life to its fullest i mean in a way God would want you to! No matter how you look at it, nobody ever wins a war. I know this is a much more sad topic than what i normally type about, but its true. Today in class they were taking donations for the soilders and our teacher played a video on the overhead about whats going on and it had a bunch of pictures from the war in Iraq and everything. So it got me thinking, when did somebody really "win" a war? I mean lets say nobody gets hurt at all, but they still had to leave their family. Lets say they didnt have a family, the soilder still has to live with how he saw other people live. Even though in the end some side always comes up with victory, is it worth the cost? It is amazing how people risk their lives difending freedom. They arent the heros you see in movies with powers and always ends up happily ever after. It is so diffrent, they dont have any powers, they dont have a bunch of people admiring them and giving them cool superman names, and they dont always get a happily ever after either. Yet, there they are doing it with dignity and pride, which they have EVERY right to do too! God bless you soilders of America and come home safe!

New Generation of Followers

As you may know from my profile, i am a very big Christian. If you want to know about me, well than you have to know that becuase it is the biggest part of my life! For about the first eleven or twelve years of my life i was always a Christian but i really hadnt felt anything like i did about a couple months ago at school. We do this camp thing at the first week of school. (I go to a Christian school) Wow i felt it there! It is the most amazing feeling too. Its like, you never think you will be alone again. That He will always be right beside you helping you along. Then even a shorter time ago, we were having some troubles with our school and the parents were having a meeting. The parents did nothing but fight and blame each other. We have highschool and middle school in the same building, its is a small school! So, one of the seniors asked me and some of my other friends that were sitting around outside the meeting if we could all come in to pray together for the adults. We were all in this pretty small, dark room and started praying. More and more student showed up and there was at least 50 students in that little room all together taking turns praying out loud. It was so powerful, i could see God and Jesus smiling at us for what we were doing for the school. Before you knew it most people were crying becuase of how powerful and happy we felt. One of the adults came in and sent an email to everyone about how the adults were in this big room all taking turns fighting and getting no where, while the kids were doing what they should have been doing....praying.

Most people think of Christians as people who have alot of rules and such. I and alot of my friends at my school, we are the new generation of followers. I like to call myself an updated Christian. I am alot like other teenagers, its true im not perfect and i dont wanna be either. Not till Heaven. I lisen to rock music and like goofing around with friends! Sometimes i get mad at people and say things i dont mean or i do things i dont mean. I like taking all those old rules and mixing them up a little to fit with todays life! I think thats what God wants me to do to, i feel it in my heart. He is telling me to be a new generation. I mean, i go to a church where they play electirc gutaries and play the drums during the song! I know that i will never lose my child like faith no matter what! Now all i got to say is......watch out world, cause the new generation is rising!

Future Writers of the World!

Well, chances are if you like to blog and write then you would enjoy writing a story! I am currently in the middle of one right now! I only started it about a month ago. I remember i started one two years ago and i kinda forgot about it, so i was thinking of starting that one up again but then i relised that my vocab from reading so much has gotten so much better. Just the way that i write stories is better! Even though i will always be a horrible speller! Haha! My advice is if you wanna right a story is to....yes you got it right, Reading! Yay! I think i mention reading in all my blogs! O well back on topic! It really does improve your writing though! It helps you look at first second and third person view format and lets you see which on you would be better at! It also gives you more ideas of what to write, though you should NEVER copy another author's work! First if you want to right, think about it for a couple days and jot down some notes on a piece of paper. Keep track of all things you want your characters to be and names and such! Also write down ideas about what you want to happen father on so that you can build up to it! But make sure you keep to the story line! That is the biggest problem i see with my story when i am writing. I want to move on to something and add a bunch of things at once, but what is good for you to do is to read over it and act like you did not write it and earse everything that you know about your story that you wouldnt know from just reading it. Then see if you can follow and what you schould keep secret and build up to! To be or not to be a Day Dreamer?

Ok, are you a day dreamer or not? I know for sure that i am a really good day dreamer, sometimes thats a good thing, sometimes its not. The title of this blog speaks for itself, is it a good thing to be a day dreamer or not so much? Most of the time i love it, i think its what makes me like reading so much, being able to picture it in front of me and everything. The only time that it is bad is when you are in school! Wow, i have had so many teachers in my life tell me to "stop day dreaming" or "get your head out of the clouds" mabye even "are you in la la land again?" Did you know day dreaming has actually been proven to help people think through things in a way they wouldnt have normally? Its just depends if this is the time to think through it! Dont get me wrong i am a very good student, which is why a handful of my teachers actually let me day dream in class, becuase they know i am really paying attention even if it looks like im not! Every now and again they call on me for an answer just to be sure! Haha! The thing is, everyone has to know their limits. You need to think, ok am i still going to be able to pay attention, or will i totaly get lost? Day dreaming actually helps me go to sleep, when i am laying in bed i take diffrent situations each night and play them out.....before i know it im hitting the alarm off on my phone in the mourning! The fact is that day dreaming can help you and hurt you, just day dream about that for a while! Remember everyone, "Wisdom begins in Wonder!"~unknown

Ok, i got kinda bored of the same layout and colors, so i completly re-did it! Dont worry! Its the same blog and everything, just looks diffrent! Luv the Movies

Right after reading and music comes the next best thing ever! Movies! Also when they make books into movies! (As long as they dont screw it up and kill the story completly!) I think i would be watching movies all the time if i could! Going to the movies, having movie marthons, watching one before you go to bed, its happening all the time! Haha! The most recent one i have seen, which was at the movies today, is Jumper. It just came out like a week ago and i thought the previews looked good! Most of the time you see a preview for a movie and its really good, right? Then you get all excited and think the movie will be great! Then it urns out to be horrible and you're all sad about it. This happens alot, but not with Jumper! I thought the movie was better than the previews! If you dont know what it is, go to google and type in the name and watch the trailer and clips and such! Movies are amazing becuase while you are watching you are in a completly diffrent world. Its like you are there seeing it all in front of you or following someone's life. I really like action and fantasy movies, but i will also watch some romance and comedy! Have fun watching your movies everyone!

Wildlife Dreams

When i grow up my dream job is become a wildlife photographer! I have always wanted to see the world and want to go to places like Paris or Italy. I am also in love with animals and i love photography! So, that job lets me do everything i want to do! I am hoping to go to a collage that has a really big photography program in it and then i want to sign up and work for a magizine. There are two ways you can be a photographer. One:you can be your own boss and go where you want to, when you want to, and choose the animal. Note that you then have to pay for all the traveling payments and you have to find someone to buy the pictures. Two:you can work for a magizine and they tell you where you need to go and what animal they want to picture of. I want to do number two becuase they will then pay for the traveling and i will get to go where i want to go eventually! I will do this job for mabye around 5 years then i am hoping to settle down, but i will always need a job that lets me work with animals! Just thought i would share me dream job and i hope you reach yours!

Night Reading

Ok, i love to read so much. I can see everything in the book happening right in front of me. Its makes me more creative and a very good day dreamer. Sadly, there are times i wish i could be reading when i know that it is not the right time. Like for example, today in school i really wanting to read my book in my back pack, (I am re-reading the wizard heir), but it was in science class and i couldnt. What i am getting at is that my days are busy filled with school work soccer everyday stuff and friends. So, when do i get the time to read my books, you may ask? Well, that is when night reading is the best thing i could ask for. After my family goes to bed and i am in my room, instead of watching tv which you are not supposed to do before you go to bed, i read. It is the perfect time, everything quiet, the world seems to have a new magic to it. My reading and getting ingrossed in the book is best at this time. One thing you have to be careful of though is that i tend to read till early mourning on a school night, so you have to be careful not to go to far! Night reading is something i love to do and if you need me tonight, i will be finishing a book!Lol!

Personality Music

Ok now everyone has there type of music, right? Usally says something about there personality and how they look at things. I really belive this is true, my favorite type is mostly pop but i love pretty much all kinds. I like everything from Hiphop/Rap all the way to country! Writing songs is not something i am good at, so lyrics in some songs are so good, it always amazes me. Music can also make you feel better or have an impact on the mood your are in. If i'm sad i might turn on some dance or alternative happy music to make me feel better. Music makes everything more exciting. In movies there is music in the background and i think it would be cool if it was like that in real life. It cant be like that but thank goodness for ipods! They make lisening to music easier and you dont have to lisen to people talk on the radio. Speaking of that, it is something that makes me mad. People on the radio keep talking about something dumb and just need to play some music. Kinda like the whole commericals on t.v thing. They need sponsers for money though so i understand why they do this. Anyway, i hope that everyone will find that kind of music that is them and love it as much as i do!
